What if I can’t afford to outsource yet?

If you are just starting out and not yet financially in the position to outsource, these packages are probably too robust for your needs. If you want simple systems to help manage your money and guidance on understanding taxes, a consultation may be all you need. There is a lot I can help you with in an hour!

I’m a total mess when it comes to my business finances! Is there anything I need to do before signing on to be a client?

I know how overwhelming the financial side of business can feel, which is why I’m here to make the barrier to entry of hiring out + becoming your own CEO as low as possible!
The BEST way to start off our relationship is by opening a separate checking account for your business, so you can be seen as a legit business.

Already have a biz bank account? Then you’re good to go!

Do I have to wait for the beginning of a new year to start?

While the new year is definitely the most ideal time to begin working with a bookkeeper, I know life doesn’t always work out that way. We can DEFINITELY start in the middle of the year—we’ll just need to get some things set up to make sure we start off on the right foot!

If you already have a bookkeeping system in place…
We’ll start with a bookkeeping catch-up, which consists of going back to January of the current year, categorizing all your business transactions, and ensuring that we have super clean and accurate data. Not only is this beneficial for tax purposes, but as the CEO of your biz, you need these numbers to make strategic decisions.

I offer a discounted rate of $200 for each month of catch-up.

How long does the catch-up process take if I’m signing on to work with you mid-year?

Depending on the time of year we start working together, onboarding can take anywhere between 3–4 weeks.

How do I get started?

Step 1: Discovery Call – We’ll spend about an hour getting to know each other, via Zoom, and we’ll customize our services to fit your goals and needs.
Step 2: Onboarding – I’ll get you all setup with your tech stack, so nothing falls through the cracks. This is where I’ll get all of your important documents, too.
Step 3: Organize & Strategize – This is where the fun starts! I get started on the work and compile your financial data to help you reach your goals.

How do I pay? Do you bill by the hour?

I make billing as simple and transparent as possible. Once you select a service package, you’ll be billed once a month. We want to collaborate with you all year long and don’t want you to worry about racking up unexpected fees.

What is included in unlimited support?

You can reach out to ask all of your questions, any time. Things happen all year round, so if you have questions on how it impacts you or your business, it’s important to reach out as it happens – that’s why there are no hourly fees.

Is there a contract?

You will have to sign an engagement letter when I begin work, but since I provide services on a month-to-month basis, you can cancel at any time. I just ask that you give us 30 days’ notice.

Will you raise my fees when my business grows?

I hope that all of our clients are able to grow their businesses, and naturally, your accounting needs will expand as well. When the time comes, we’ll discuss modifying your contract to appropriately scale your accounting services.

What if I don’t already use QuickBooks Online?

No problem at all. I can do a conversion using information from your prior accounting system.

What if I only need my taxes prepared?

My passion in working with business owners lie outside of ONLY preparing taxes. Which is why I offer a concierge tax package that provides you year-round support to make sure your business stays on track.
